Thanks, Astroprof.

I'm a Christmas celebrating kind of gal.

I am happy, however, to accept good wishes for any and all holiday greetings.

Merry Christmas to you as well!

Merry Christmas darling! Hope you don't have to work today but if you do, may you have a wonderful on-time drama free trip! :)

Fly Girl, I do Christmas, too. But at the college, they are trying to get away from calling it Christmas, for fear of offending someone. It is sort of silly, I think, as most people who don't celebrate Christmas don't really mind calling it Christmas. Oh, well.

What is really celebrated isn't really Christmas, but rather an orgy of shopping, spending, and so forth. I get tired of the daily shopping reports on the evening news, and the economic outlook based on spending. No one seems to care that there is a holy day in the holiday.

I've only celebrated New Years Eve away from home twice.

Once was for Y2K, and it actually worked out nicely. Had a great dinner with the crew, then went to bed early as we had an early flight the following day.

The other time was a layover in a city where I have some friends, and I was invited to join in their celebration.

You make the holidays fun, no matter where you are.
